Southern Gardener Landscape & Design was created by Justin J. Viens in early 2018 after working for another Atlanta landscape architecture and installation firm for over 9 years. Justin was raised in Highlands, North Carolina, where, inspired by his love of the outdoors and surrounded by the beauty of Highlands,  he decided to pursue a career in landscaping. He started landscaping in the mountains in 2004, specializing in hardscapes and water feature design and installation, while gaining a vast knowledge of plant species that thrive in the Southeast. In 2009, Justin moved to Atlanta to be with his wife and joined a design-build landscape firm where he honed his skills for 9 more years.
